At the begining , I was so impressed on this facility. The sales guy was very nice and convinced my 2 friends signed up the memebership. He also offered me a free 7 day pass. Nobody told me that i can not use another pass within certain period.

2 weeks after, I printed free pass on line but LA Fitness burlington rejected to let me in. The same sales guy was so rude and said it is impossible to let me work out free even just for today. I am a very reasonalbe person, I do not think it is a big problem if he could explain nicely , then I can leave without any problem. However he was very rude and impatient, acting like a totally diffrent person compare to the day when my freinds signed up membership with him. The manager showed up as well, they just simply turned me down without a reasonable explaination.

I was very seriously considered to join this gym before, howeve it is obviously that LA Fitness Burlington does not care about the potential customer. Why bother? I will retain the membership with Goodlife at least the staff there are much nicer.

I have to agree with all the complaints there are full of crap and remember money always comes first

Brant St. Facility - we joined a month ago and love it.

The facility is bright and clean, with a great variety of equipment. I have found the management excellent, knowledgeable and helpful. They let my out of town nephew work out with me for no additional charges when they certainly could have.

Big shout out to Eric, he knows how to manage a club.

Your loss baby, that gym is WAY sweeter than Goodlife Burlington... I was there for 2 years and liked it til I joined LA.

It's way cheaper and about 4X bigger...

not a big fan of the sauna tho.

Hotties galore.

I agree with you entirely. I was a poor soul that decided to go to LA fitness to try out a 1-month membership.

Turns out they don't offer 1-month memberships. You must sign up for a two month membership. So, decided what the heck, I wanted to try out the gym anyways. Then one month later I was charged for another month because I wasn't informed on their cancellation policy.

After I was charged I informed them I wanted to cancel, however they said I have to wait until the 7 day period before the end of the month to cancel. Needless to say I have attempted to cancel 3 times with no luck due to *** policies like "we only cancel from 9 am - 5 pm weekdays." However La fitness does accept new members any time of the day...

I also have experienced the terrible customer service from the front desk.

Absolutely horrendous. They are rude and unprofessional.

My boy friend is having the same problem he told them he only wanted to join for 2 months as he was moving so giving them the last month notice well in advance. Now they are saying that isn't the case. I would not recommend LA fitness rude staff and policy that is difficult to get out of once you've signed up.

LA Fitness on brant street in burlington recently opened. Aside from the first week when everyone was checking it out the gym is mostly quiet (even during the normally busy times)....I think the reason is that the brant location is not near any high density housing (ie.

alton village near la fitness north burlington).

A free no-strings-attached 7-day pass is a great way to try out a gym. Unless there is a valid reason (ie. significant time has passed, the gym has changed, you didn't get a chance to try the gym enough in the 7 days) you cannot expect a gym to provide with a second free pass.

That said, I agree with most of the comments here about LA Fitness in Burlington, at Appleby Line. Once they get your signature on the line for a month-to-month membership they treat you like ***

This gym looks clean from the moment you walk in but it's true that the corners they cut, to save money, are on cleaning. The last time I was there the showers smelt like the dirtiest toilet you could imagine, I heard other guys yelling at how disgusting the smell was (some of us are on our way to work and have no choice but to shower there).

If you join LA Fitness North Burlington be prepared for a large disappointment in one way or another (or likely more).

I am a single dad, one income, and for health reasons I need to do cardio and aerobic exercise. The cost per month of the fitness center is a little too high for my budget, I asked for a consideration, something, just for me to join asap, I got a person called Gilbert, at the Burlington north facility and with the same rude tone of voice, told me that they do not negotiate or reduce memberships in price, and also that they keep a exclusive level of clientelle and that I should look for another gym.

Evidently they do not know what client care is, and in addition, they are loosing revenue. I am now telling all the latin-hispanic community here in Burlington not to try them, they shouldn't be in business.

They keep an exclusive clientele? And to get a membership somewhere else?

I HIGHLY doubt any rep would say that.. you were probably shady lol

Considering your overwhelming attitude of entitlement, I am going to guess that you are a new immigrant. I realize that you may be used to a much higher standard of living compared to Canada, which I would assume is why you immigrated here......but a seven day pass is a complimentary gift, so you can try the gym out.

It is not a invitation to workout free for weeks on end with home printed passes. Here in Canada all Canadians have to pay to play, not just the ones born here.

Honestly your attitude sickens me, this is not a hand-out nation. If you want something, work hard to obtain it, stop trying to game the system playa.

Wow, way to attack someone based on the way they explained something. You have to dig in the racism and shots at immigrants to.

That is not an overwhelming sense of entitlement. If think that is - you must be a drama queen.

I'm Canadian and I strongly do not agree with what you stated here. I believe a free invitation should be a free invitation. ' word of mouth ' is key and if this company wants to stand out from the rest they should at least be respectful .,,

What business can you go into get a free trial for a week and than come back suddenly and expect another free trial although you've just used one??? Does Tim hortons give free coffee??

Maybe if you roll up the rim and win, but you had to buy that first one.. How can a business survive if all they do is give free passes?? When you test drive a car do they let you keep it for a week and than decide??

Ive been a member side it opened the gym is awesome and some of the front desk people are nicer than others but I don't really care all they need to do is scan me in. If you don't like it go to the ymca pay 70 dollars and run around with a bunch of kids and it is crowded theres no room for whiners good riddance!

People just love to complain. $33/month go try and pay for that at good life..ive never had a problem at this gym and have been going for 3 years.

Who cares if the front desk girl doesn't smile when ya walk in, I guess some people want a red carpet. When I show up at the gym I mean business...I'm there to do my work out. I'm only focused on my workout routine, maybe if you get more serious about your workout People wouldn't focus on the little things.

As much as I love living in Burlington i have noticed that its typically a snobby city. Still love my burly though.

It doesn't matter whether you are there just to work out. It is a business.

They are required to treat their customers properly - a smile wouldn't kill them. I had the snobby attitude of these gyms.

I live in Burlington as well. I just checked out the new gym and they have a half dead attitude and the gym has barely been open for a couple of weeks.

Guest

I agree, worst customer service ever! The worst of the worst are Natasha, Courtney and Stephanie.

They care less about their customers and dont follow up as they should. This gym is the biggest scam

Guest

It is a very good facility except for the fact that I wanted to use the showers and one shower stall had a pile of *** sitting right on the floor!! :x

Guest

you pay 33 a month... everyone complaining needs to relax or go to a gym where you pay full price.

You are there to work out not judge everyone around you. If your so unhappy then leave, they make it simple to cancel. A gym needs positivity not negativity. Its where people let out steam, so stop causing more problems especially to the people at the front that deal with your b.s every single day, give them a break.

If you actually talked to them you would see the people who work there are actually awesome. Stop hiding behind a computer, so pathetic.

Guest

Common sense. Otherwise I can print free passes forever.
