Myself as well as other members have informed the staff about the Mens Sauna. The heating unit has half of the coils not getting hot. Consequently the sauna is only getting luke warm at best. I inquired the other day about the status and was told they are waiting for a maintenance guy to take a look at it. I can appreciate the fact it takes time to get equipment repaired. It has been two weeks and the unit has not been assessed ! The Sauna is the reason a lot of people come to the Club. Im trying to figure out if having this amenity not functioning properly is a priority ?

Discrimination

I was told that I can easily be excluded and walked out the front door with a termination of my membership because of assumptions from team members at the LA fitness. Im not trying to create any problems.

I just want to find a solution because I do want to continue with the membership but Im trying to speak to someone above the general manager at the location where Im at 10 because it was him directly and that came to me to inform me of what you felt like in history has felt like what is occurring at the facility so if you could please contact me at the phone number provided which was 484-338-****.

I was punched in the face by a man who told me to get out of HIS swim lane or I would get hurt It was a double lane and I was approaching him to cordially ask to share the lane. He made good on his promise to hurt me because he did. He is in his mid thirties and I am a 60 year old woman. I was told by LAFITNESS that theres nothing they can do. I have a lawyer who says the contrary. Why do I pay a membership fee to get beat up in the pool? No security whatsoever

Upset with customer service

On my account I had guest privileges and now they say I didnt have one , and they ask me to pay extra to add guest privileges again my no. Is 972413**** if you really care to solve this .

Refuse to cancel membership

Their policy says to fill out the cancellation form. Then you cycle through to the end of the month, but they continue to bill you and tell you to come to the gym and cancel with a manager, but theres never a manager. I was going to take a break and come back, but now Ill just go back to lifetime.

Fraudulent "training," charges and harrassment

The LA Fitness "club" near me had a poor reputation. They got all new management but did retain one of the prior trainers.

I had been having pain but going to that location was difficult due to past experiences (for example, they claimed they were splitting off and become "Esporta" Fitness. I paid a new, duplicate enrollment fee and two months of billing. They never changed their name. They would not address those additional charges.

I was treated horribly by customer "service" and lied to that the penalty fee for quitting the gym would be waived.

Recently, I have been having pain and simply thought I was injured. I thought getting a REAL Trainer would be helpful to me. LA Fitness is horribly overpriced: $230 for 3 sessions a month. I expressed misgivings to the person who showed me what i could expect from the "training." We went into the little "special" training area and did use all the cool equipment.

It turned out this guy was a Regional Sales Wiz who goes around and sells a promise of a certain kind of training one is led to believe to expect in the future from the real "trainers."

I was allowed to choose my trainer which angered the legacy trainer. During trainings, we would get glared at and interrupted. My trainer quit his job at LA Fitness. I was left with a trainer who would sick a pin in a machine on the larger floor, complain about the job and walk away.

I counted my own reps on that machine because i was alone. Sticking a pin in a machine and walking away is NOT training. I complained and got NO response. I pain for a training that the trainer did not show up for.

I tried to get help with fraudulent charges and NOTHING. The Wiz Kid salesman said he was no longer the Regional manager. The "club" said he was.

Because i was getting the run around or NO response at all for help, I turned to lawyers. On the advice of 2 of them, I cancelled the credit card I've had since 1995 at considerable hardship to me and my legitimate creditors.

All of a sudden, I was getting multiple daily phone calls, texts, emails and ALL SORTS of offers to "help." I am getting subtle threats. I have tried calling back customer "service." Apparently, the are allowing their reps to call from where ever. Returning a call results in getting some front desk f some club in California with the rep saying they don't have a clue what the call was about, who called or how to help. Gee, really?

I have emailed, called and texted for help with this and all that happens is that i keep getting more charges.

NO response whatsoever and paying for training that did not happen or "trainings" that were a breach of the promise of the expected service.

For literal insult to injury, it turns out that the excruciating pains I have been having are likely linked to cancer.

I get the pleasure of confirming that this week. I may have spent some of the last months on the planet being harassed and ripped off by a "health" club.

These people need to be stopped

Bad customer service experience

I was very exited to enjoy this club close to my house I waited 3 month for them to open now that is ready I try to go in and sign up and for some reason couldnt. Over all the manager Levi said many bad things to me like I dont want you as a customer, he keeps playing calling and hang up many time, I ask to stop calling me or Ill call manager to complaint he said I couldnt because he was the higher level they could complaint and he was very unprofessional.

I regrets giving my information and stopping by. Very mad about their treatment to new people whos willing to sign up and just do what youve been waiting to do.

I just hope he stops calling me and harassing me over the phone. Someone needs to stop him.

No one picked up the phone

Called w. a simple question. Had to fill out questionnaire, was auto-transferred to a representitive whose voice mail told me she was unavailable. You want an awful lot of work from me for what should be a two minute conversation at the very most. Do better work!

Handicap parking spot

Esporta in Highland. Orange M4 BMW parked in Handicap since 5:02pm and staff was made are yet have done nothing. This vehicle does NOT HAVE a Handicap Sign or license plate to symbolize that.

Issues on a payment

Adding a family member to your plan is a scam. I add my boyfriend, they are changing him like he opens an individual membership, hooked to my account and paying more than me. Now LA fitness, is chargin wo times a month my LA Fitness membership. I am paying for a family plan $27 and 37 = 64 for 2 persons family plan

Unsanitary

Jacuzzi is unsanitary its a pool its not heated people come in to sign a fully dressed with street clothes on equipment is not being cleaned off after use. The floor in the personal training area is unsanitary. I have a membership I pay for a personal trainer and its very unsanitary. This location is in Springfield and behind target off of Baltimore Avenue.

Canceling personal training membership

if I could rate them zero, I would. They make it incredibly impossible to cancel a membership, especially if its the personal training one.

I am moving to Kansas, and there are no LA fitness is within 25 miles or the entire *** state. Its insane to me that I have to call a 1-800 number thats only available for six hours per day. This is apparently the only way to cancel a membership otherwise I have to pay 50% of the remainder of the contract.

How was I supposed to know that I was moving to a different state let alone six months in advance which is the shortest term of the contract ig. please if you are still reading DO NOT start a membership there.
