Gym Conditions Review

LA at Airport and Bovaird is the worst gym i have ever been. Weights all over the floor, no employee bother to pick em up or educate clients about keeping the place clean and tidy. And the employees at front desk always lie about closing time. When a client want to know what time gym close they should be provided the right information not a lie telling them 1 hour before it actually close.

Our LA Fitness in Noblesville, IN

Our LA Fitness in Noblesville is so unhealthly, dirty. I have repeatly complained about our bathrooms, showers has mold on the drains, and the shower curtains are so dirty and the walls in the showers you can feel the slime. I have had fungal infections twice on my toes to the showers.. I now wear shoes.. If something is not done soon I will be cancelling my membership. There have been other members that have complained as well and nothing has ever been corrected. Also the instructor for the Aqua Fit are so bad that we are doing ballet for our workout.. Our regular instructor is out on medical leave to knee surgery. I sure hope something gets done quick I have been with your club for two years. and if something is not done you will loose me as a member as well as many other members. This is really sad as this a new facility and it is a disgrace.

La Fitness in Stockbridge, Georgia - Could BE A LOT BETTER!!!!!

Things break; theft occur (definitely not good on a repetitive basis) but rude customer service is the pits. I totally agree with the many comments about the rude conduct of many of the employees. They just don't get it. Although I lock my clothing in the locker, I ALWAYS take my wallet, phones, watch, etc to the mini safes out front by the reception area. I have to say this and then I will just stop - why in the world do people not want to wash their body in lieu of using up all the paper towels to dry off the sweat and lot of time just leave a mess for the poor janitor??? This is of course a rhetorical question; it just makes me cringe to see ADULTS BEHAVE THAT WAY.......

Unfortunately most companies don't cover or worry about their parking lots. There is some liability but their attitude is use their parking lot at your own risk.

Theft from vehicles or lockers at a gym is more common than you think because many thieves know that the members will be gone and preoccupied for a while.

Also those same thieves frequently are staff or members with a drug problem if not scamers.

Make sure it's reported to the police. If for no other reason if the police start seeing a lot of problems they'll either tell LA Fitness to increase security or stake out the place themselves to catch the thief.

Any place actually but never trust what is verbally promised. Always look for it in writing.

Unfortunately you will have to read the fine print as well.

Always ask for a fee schedule or see if it's clearly displayed or available somewhere. I get leery when I don't see prices because not only is one open to fraud but ignorance.

A lot of sales people including gym staff simply don't know, they act like they know but they don't.

I'd consult a lawyer soon if you can't cancel. You don't want them dinging your credit score or turning the bill over to a collection agency.

Also report them to the local Better Business Bureau.

Racquetball Court Reservation Review

The racquetball reservation app was not working for months Now that it partly works .... It doesn't matter because you can reserve at desk 4 days earlier so no court time is available I've complained to corporate about this and other issues (equipment cleanliness etc) but no satisfaction This company has major growing pains !!!!

Since day one have not been able to get a consistent day/time with trainer. Trainer schedules a time and then changes at the last minute, creating havoc for this consumer's personal schedule and life. Of 27 sessions only 23 were at the agreed time and day. Trainer has gone as far as sending texts at 7:30 in the morning for a session three hours later because "that's all I have open". Conflicting times have been given in the email confirmations and texts from the trainer, or lack thereof. I have showed up for a confirmed session only to be told I'm late or didn't have a session that day, even though I have the email in hand. I have been called ***, a liar, hard to work with and verbally attacked by personnel at the gym. I had enough and said we will cancel because of breach of contract by them. Oh no you can't because you were there for all your sessions. By the way trainers unavailable for three weeks out of a month, but they keep taking the money. Do NOT do business with these crooks.

This is why I hate contracts involving second and third parties. There is money for all involved including commissions for signing you up and payments to the trainer.

One or all of those parties will not and does not want to give back that money.

Unless detailed times or "at your convenience" were mentioned in the contract I don't how much standing you have to cancel or escalate the complaint to corporate management( who will throw it back to local management to start anyway). Also file a complaint with the better business bureau.

i joined over a uear ago, prior to them opening. initially, i was very impressed.

i found from months of experience there that they care only about sales. they don't offer pointers to new people doing something incorrectly.

also, the locker room floors and the bathrooms are not kept up. the vending machines are not stocked forcing one to use their nutrition bar.
