LA Fitness in Cerritos John manager lacks of customer respect

I love the dancing exercise so that I joined into one of the Gym. I chose LA Fitness because I have been told by my friend. She used to work out at over there (but she is in 12H Fitness now). My boyfriend and I decided to join in the LA Fitness in Cerritos. Today when I came to the dance class, just opened the door, I noticed a bad smell of the air from people doing exercising and exhalation. Today the dancing class was crowded so that the air was not ventilated and very smelled. I tried to open the door a little bit to ventilate the air, but right away, there was guy passed by and closed the door in front of me. I was polite to ask: “Can I open the door to ventilate the air because it is very smelled, and by opening it a little bit, it would be good for everyone who were exercising hard in the room?”. He ignored my explanation and said: “No”. I said: “The smell is too bad now and we don’t want to inhale our own breath, which is the toxic CO2 produced. We need the air to be fresh while exercising”. He said: “I don’t care. You must close the door”. The way he answered was not professional, lack of knowledge of how to communicate with people, no respect, and failed customer service. And moreover, his attitude is ignored; do not care about the clients. He declared he is a manager John. I don’t know how the company can hire a manager like that? I am a member of LA Fitness for awhile and still keep staying with this company even those my friends have told me going to the 24H Fitness since it is big and it open all the time, is flexible time for customer. But I still keep staying with this company since it is close to my house. Now I got treated like that, it makes me disappointed. I think when the contract is done, my boyfriend and I will move to work out in the 24H Fitness or else where there is having a better customer service. Again, I really don’t like the door to be closed with the bad air when people are exercising and exhaling hard. I don’t mind when there is less people in the room, but when it is too crowded, we need the fresh air. We are coming here to exercise because we all want to be healthy but not be sick.

La Fitness in Rancho Santa Margarita, California - Cheap policies and Behavior !!!!!

I just visited to LA Fitness near Lake Forest, on Sep 22, 2016. When I entered there, they treated so nice, after that they literally forced us to join the membership. Firstly, they told me that the trainer is included in the membership plan and they didn't told me about the monthly auto pay .They told they will charge 100$ for membership, as initiation fee and 35$ monthly payment. They gave some papers to sign, but they didn't give us enough time to read it. They took my card. They charged 2 months extra. When I asked them whey they took extra month. They should inform me, its the minimum thing they have to do, before they cut extra month (money) from my account. I was charged 168.98$ totally. I am so much frustrated with their behavior. At that moment, I asked them to refund my money. After that, their behavior changed completely. They talked very harsh. They told they are not gonna refund the amount at any cost. I have been in US, since 4 years. This is the first time, I have seen some one treating very bad with a customer. This is the first issue (Very very Rude Behavior) I had faced with them. I came to LA Fitness for just 2 days( On Sep 23 &24). Due to some personal reasons I couldnt able to go the LA Fitness. They have deducted another 35$, which is a monthly auto pay. When I asked them to cancel my membership. They gave a form, they told me to go to the post office, put some stamp on it and mail to them. Initially, when they did the membership and all, they didnt ask me to mail. but for cancellation, they are forcing me to do the mail. My friend, who recently joined in the LA Fitness, faced the same issue. When she went to cancellation, they didn't ask for the mailing process. I am seriously shocked with their behavior. Why they had different rules to customers. For cancellation also, they were charging money. Cancellation is my right. Why I should take the pain for the cancellation. I had very bad experiences with them. I strongly suggest to stay away with them.

I never received my membership card. The employee who signed me up said that I would receive it in the mail. Never received it. Waited TWO MONTHS. Wrote to LA Fitness to receive a refund for the fees I was charged. A "manager" called me to tell me I should have, "Just gone to the gym anyway." even though I told him I did not receive a card. RUDE! I can't believe this company I have never dealt with such an incompetent business that is unaware of how important it is to uphold positive customer service relations. Also when I toured their gym it was dirty and the equipment was old. GO ANYWHERE ELSE but this company. Disgusting.
