I signed up for a training program, I was excited for my granddaughter and myself. I understood the training was $150.00 for both a month with 4 training a month.

I received a copy of my contract and was astonished to find my bank account was debited $272.00!!!!! I called John immediately, he informed me that I signed the contract, I know I didn't authorize that amount now with taxes it could be $173.00 as he charged me. John said there is no way I didn't know because I singed and I saw it on dual screens, I know on the night they were having computer problems because my granddaughter friend was going to sing up also but needed her motherโ€™s permission and they had to write it out on paper so they would get credit for the end of the month. Maybe he doesn't remember that part however, he proceed to inform me that there is no way he was going to return the $99.00 sign-up fee.

I called corporate office to no avail, I have called every day since the first of December. I have spoken to several people who answer the phone at 949-255-****. I was told Travis would call me back and he was Johnโ€™s supervisor. He has never called or reached out in any way ANYWAY.

He is either finding this unimportant or unworthy of his attention. I have talked to (as I said several others) they say he is the District VP of training. Iโ€™m for one very disappointed to find out that LA fitness is allowing this type of irresponsibility in your management personal. I also need to mention that I did not authorize the funds because I did NOT have the funds, there for I received an overdraft fee of $35.00 for the unauthorized $99.00!

Why would I do something so ridiculous? I have sent a mail stating that I would like to cancel my membership for training asap (I do NOT want to cancel my gym membership) I sent that form a week ago and it was post marked 12/03/2016 I've yet to receive my funds, the funds John said he wouldn't return $99.00 I have several friends who go to your gym. I'm so disillusioned, my 4 friends who go there have had no problems so I can't understand why La fitness would cause 4 people to be so disappointed in your gym and management. I don't know how they don't seem to understand how they can minimize the funds but I'm on disability so I need my funds ASAP.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

La Fitness Cons: Training programs, I was decievd and treated poorly from john the traing, Personal training, Unprofessional personal trainer, Being lied to.
