I recently purchased a contract worth almost $5,000 for a year's worth of training and a gym membership. Within a week, I discovered a mistake had been made in my contract and instead of charging me for a single gym membership, I was charged for a multi-gym membership.
I signed the contract so it was both my error and the error of the salesman since i specifically told him I wanted only one site. When i went to ask for rectification, I was told bitterly, there was nothing that could be done for me and that it was my fault. A little sugar would have gone a long way. For example, they could have said that it was too late to change the contract but could they give me a free training session.
They spend a lot on advertising but anger their good customers with a poor attitude. I am guessing the woman who responded to me, hasn't smiled once in 30 years.
