Friends, I would like to bring in your notice I was a member of LA fitness located @ 200 New World Way

South Plainfield NJ. One day one of the training agents approached me to take Training lessons from LA fitness trainers, since I was fine with the charges and the course of training explained to me, I planned to take it. I have been told (same was written in the contract) although its one year contract but if I move out and this center is far more than 25 miles from my house I can terminate my contract without any charges or if there are any medical reasons. For my first class the trainer (Kevin) was already busy with some other client although I had an appointment with me. I complained to the Manager "Rahul" and he said he will ensure this will not happen in future, So I waited for my first class for next 7 days. Again the same thing happened so I asked to cancel my membership. The manager "Rahul' tried to escape, he was never ready to talk with me. Somehow I get hold of him one day and he said I have to pay 50% of the remaining amount. I told him even though LA Fitness is not capable of providing training services how can he ask for this. I am really frustrated with his behavior as he just left out of the conversation.

No body from the corporate office was ready to terminate my membership even though LA fitness trainers were not available. After 5 months I got a new job so I moved to India, and I sent the cancellation form to LA Fitness office CA and my membership was terminated. So I have paid for 3 months without having any training sessions from LA fitness.

LA Fitness is not a good place to go for Training sessions. Definitely I realized this is a big scam

and "Rahul" is part of it. My attorney's fee was more than what I paid to LA fitness otherwise I could have dragged them into court. Do not join this place & never sign any contracts as all of their mangers are ready to cheat. "LA Fitness Training is big scam"

Location: Westfield, New Jersey

I tried a lawyer...they say the contract is iron clad and it would cost more than worth to fight the corporate system, though they failed to deliver promised services. The print is so same, that I didn't see them check off a different box that what was agreed upon....the boxes between the 30 minute vs 60 minutes session are next to each other..they charge $60 a session..the trainers only get $6 for each session.

REPORT LA FITNESS TO THE BBB OR THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE IN YOUR STATE. FILE A CONSUMER COMPLAINT STATING THAT LA FITNESS FAILED TO DELIVER THE SERVICES IN THE CONTRACT.

WHILE YOU HAD TO PAY 50% OF THE BALANCE TO CANCE (AS STATED IN CONTRACT), ASK TO BE REIMBURSED FOR FAILURE TO DELIVER THE PROMISED SERVICES. DOCUMENT YOUR COMPLAINT WITH EVIDENCE IF POSSIBLE.

RECOVER YOUR DAMAGES. MAKE THEM PAY!
