La Fitness in Dallas, Texas - Selfish Coach

I have many years in this gym since I was Ballys had never had any problem in fact conosco to most people. Now my boyfriend and I started training muntos and have had 2 problems with one of the coaches for not bothering her not, bre is Jason is enta in Centerville & 635. Mimpunto is that, mind if I train with my partner or not that's no problem wanted to leave us alone apart from it being very rude how it relates to us. iyo I just want you to leave us alone Please just leave us alone THANKS

We had a huge credit ($300) and I went in to cancel. The woman there told me that it was a FLAT $10 to put our account on freeze. I came in two years later to finally cancel as we weren't going to be able to get there anymore and they had been deducting $10 a MONTH. They admitted they had the wrong email address and never sent out a paper invoice. When I called corporate, the guy said sorry but they weren't going to refund our money even though he admitted they had the wrong email address. I guess your corporate reputation is worth $200. I even asked him if he thought $200 was worth his company's reputation (to someone who was a good, honest paying member). I guess I shouldn't be surprised that there are almost a 1000 bad reviews here.

La Fitness in Dallas, Texas - Lied to for900 bucks when i was16years old

Was told i could sign up and quit whenever i wanted without having to pay anything to get out. The people just wanted my money.manager agreed i got lied to but wouldn't do anything since i signed the contract. . . Plus trainers never had time for me and just texted or talked to people while training me. Knowing i only get30min for training. I regret ever trusting la fitness ever. . . The only good thing was that they were fired. . . They had too many complaints So karmas a *** they deserved worse. . . Ill never do it again trust me please do.

La Fitness in Dallas, Texas - Would not Recommend

I've been a member of LA Fitness in Highland Village, TX since 2007. When my family first joined LA Fitness of Highland Village, it was clean, new equipment and an energized work force. Now? The equipment is constantly breaking down, the place is not kept up, sanitary wise, and the workforce appears to have been cut in half. My complaints have fallen on deaf ears. It seems obvious to me they are more focused on new clients than maintaining the ones they have. Why do I remain a member? Convenience only! The facility is less than 5minutes from home, however, if changes aren't made within the next year my family will switch to Lifetime Fitness.

Dallas Mockingbird Lane LA Fitness unprofessional and insulting behaviour of the area supervisor

In March 2013 I bought a 2-month package for LA Fitness for my mother. We specified that she would be leaving the country once the 2 months end. I paid 68 dollars for 2 months. However, 3 months later I realized my card was charged a 32 dollar fee on top of the initial 68 dollars. The sales associate assured us there is no contract and no association fee and rushed us through. We were not given a paper copy of the contract and did not put initials in the parts specifying we had to cancel it or continue paying. Besides the sales associate said the computers were down to print us a copy of an agreement. When I came in to claim my refund the area supervisor Kamini Pather refused to provide me with a paper copy of the contract we are charged by, besides she was using unprofessional threatening conduct. She charged me a cancellation fee of 29 dollars on top of the charges we did not sign up for. I complained that when I used a swimming pool one time in that area I got a pink eye. She replied that I got this infection from my newborn. It was insulting and referring to personal accusations instead of professional language.

I've had a great experience with LA Fitness for the past 6 months of personal training that I have done, until recently when my billing cycle was supposed up. I started training in October and signed up for six months of personal training at $280.00 per month. In March, when I knew my last payment should be getting close, I went to my local LA Fitness and talked with an employee to confirm that my last payment would be April 12th. He told me that April 12th would be the last personal training bill and that following that it would fall back into the $30 per month for regular membership. And that was it. No "You need to cancel your training membership," nothing to indicate that there was any action required on my part. I left with the knowledge that the $280.00 would be charged for the last time on April 12th. The following month we were billed again for $280.00 on May 12th. When I called to dispute it they canceled the personal training bill for me over the phone but told me it was my responsibility to have canceled it in April. This is where I feel MISLEAD & DECEIVED. I went up to my local LA Fitness again today to dispute the charge and asked for a manager. After I explained the situation, she told me that the information that I was telling her was wrong and that it didn't matter what I was told by her employee because it was my responsibility to know to cancel in April. She told me that she could not "rely on a conversation" because she had no way of knowing if it really happened. She talked down to me as if I were a child. As I left I told her that I felt very mislead and her response was, "Well, I'm sorry that you don't understand." I give LA Fitness as a company & gym 4 stars. But Kamini Pather(Supervisor) of 2875 South Central Expressway, McKinney a -3 stars.

La Fitness in Dallas, Texas - Ignorant, Abusive Staff

I sent the following e-mail to the corporate center: "I am contacting you to inform you that LA Fitness has serious customer service issues. I belong to the Bensalem/Neshaminy club, and the people at the desk are very rude. I have overheard them disparaging members for being 'fat', 'old' and 'ugly'. I am thinking of ending my family membership because I feel assaulted by the hostility demonstrated by your staff. I also had my picture taken by a girl at the desk without my permission. I was told that LA Fitness is incorporating facial recognition technology for security purposes - I am very uncomfortable with this breach of my privacy and lack of respect for my wishes. Perhaps it is not your concern, but I felt a responsibility for letting someone know this is happening at LA Fitness in Neshaminy PA.". I was sent a notification that the e-mail was neither read or opened. This place is just another corporate vampire, sucking money from people and treating consumers poorly. The facilities are filthy, the pool is a toilet and the showers are moldy as well. Do not bother with this outfit, there are much better which are cheaper. I am done with this place.

Well, a month later and Better Business Bureau says the company is A+ - I said seriously? They must be bribing you to say that because no one I have talked with likes them at all.

I have heard so many *** stories about LA Fitness staff and managers (sexual misconduct. sexual harassment, stealing, selling drugs, spitting in the pool). The matter was never resolved because the corporate office reported that after their internal investigation of my complaint, they decided I was being oversensitive.

I have cancelled my membership with them and now go to Planet Fitness one mile further down the road. LaA Fitness is a mrsa infested rip=off STAY AWAY!!

You would be suprised to know just how many staff members at LAFitness are felons. The staff at a particular club in Arizona are particular rude and aggressive and used intimidation tactics to sell a training package to one of my family members.

Another staff member used LAFitness data base to look up and contact various members of my family on a personal level. After becoming upset and suspicious we did a background check.on the individual and as it turns out, this staff member had murdered someone earlier in her life over a drug deal gone wrong. If their corporate policy is not to hire felons they must not be adhering to.closely. I did several more background checks and half the staff ay a particular club are, in fact, felons.

So the reason you may have problens with a rude or abusive staff keep this in mind. I imagine with the way they treat people, no.decent person would work.for.them.

Basically he told me yesterday May 9th, 2012 'I do not want unhappy clients here" if you do not like LA FITNESS do not come back, leave the gym" this is so ridiculous Mike, you were very happy with me when you enroll me on May 16th, 2011 right? then I went with you to complain and you call me liar... so I left the gym, I closed my membership, Be careful with the sales people in LA FITNESS. Horrible Kids Club, more that 20 kids with just 2 girls "looking after them" while they use their iPhone or read a book. Staff here do not care about their clients, we are just a number.
